MANZ flat pallet

MANZ MFP 1

The MFP 1 offers 204 pockets of 17.7 × 17.7 mm with a depth of 6.5 mm. It is the versatile choice for small precision parts that need more room than in the MFP 0 – on the same 383 × 281.3 mm footprint and with the same 14 mm height.

For small precision parts that need a little more room

With 17 × 12 pockets, the MFP 1 combines high packing density with enough clearance for grippers, tweezers or fingers. Each part sits on its own, does not touch its neighbours and can be picked individually.

It is suitable, for example, for medium-sized indexable inserts, carbide blanks, small turned and milled parts as well as bushes and rings whose footprint fits into 17.7 × 17.7 mm. The pocket depth of 6.5 mm also guides slightly taller parts securely.

MFP 1 or a neighbouring model?

If your parts also fit into 11.8 × 11.8 mm, the MFP 0 doubles the number of parts per pallet. If the part is larger than 17.7 mm or a gripper needs more room at the side, the MFP 2 offers much larger pockets of 27.8 × 26.1 mm.

What the MANZ MFP 1 offers: features of the MFP system

As a workpiece carrier, the MFP 1 accompanies your parts through storage, transport, cleaning and machining. All models in the range share the same system features:

  • Uniform footprint: All five models measure 383 × 281.3 mm and can be used in the same rack, magazine or stacking system.
  • Anti-rotation feature: A notch on the side clearly defines the orientation of the pallet – important for automation and image processing.
  • Minimised contact area: The parts rest on an open grid structure and are touched at only a few points.
  • Cleaning in the pallet: Parts can be cleaned directly in the pallet in an ultrasonic bath; temperature resistance is designed for washing and drying up to 89 °C.
  • Dimensionally stable and chemical-resistant: High dimensional stability and very good chemical resistance for repeated use.
  • Stackable: Standardised stacking systems; stackable with the MANZ pin pallet.
  • Identification: Barcode label with serial number; can be retrofitted with an RFID chip for traceability in medical technology.
  • Two colours: Classic in grey and Standard/pearl white in white – each with its own article number.

Reordering the MFP 1

Already using the MFP 1? Send us the article number from your delivery note – 80997157 for Classic in grey or 81559698 for Standard/pearl white in white – together with quantity and requested delivery date. If you only have the designation “MANZ MFP” without an article number, a photo of the pallet showing the embossed model number is enough. We identify the matching version and send you a quotation with price and delivery time.

Questions about the MFP 1

How many parts fit on an MFP 1?

The MFP 1 has 204 pockets in a 17 × 12 grid – 204 parts per pallet with one part per pocket.

Is the MFP 1 suitable for automated picking?

The MFP system is designed for automation: a notch on the side prevents the pallet from being turned the wrong way, and each part sits in a defined position. Whether your gripper has enough room, we check together with you using the part and gripper data.

What is the difference between Classic and Standard/pearl white?

The colour: the MFP 1 Classic is grey, the MFP 1 Standard/pearl white is white. Each has its own article number. The colour helps, for example, to keep pallets for different processes or customers apart – and dark parts such as carbide stand out with high contrast on the white pallet. If you already use one version, it is best to reorder the same one so that your pallet pool stays uniform.
