The mid-size format for turned, milled and carbide parts
In the 12 × 8 grid, medium-sized parts are held securely without wasting space. The generous pockets make manual removal easy and leave room at the side for gripper jaws.
It is suitable, for example, for larger indexable inserts, including triangular ones, milled and turned parts, bearing rings, seal carriers or connectors with a footprint of up to 27.8 × 26.1 mm. With 96 places, the pallet remains easy to handle even when fully loaded.
When the MFP 2 is the right choice
The MFP 2 is worthwhile when your part is larger than 17.7 mm or when smaller parts need more distance from each other – for example because of sensitive edges or wide grippers. If the part is taller than the pallet or larger than 27.8 mm, the MFP 3 with a height of 18 mm and a pocket depth of 9.5 mm offers more room. For smaller parts in higher quantities, the MFP 1 with 204 places is the better fit.
What the MANZ MFP 2 offers: features of the MFP system
As a workpiece carrier, the MFP 2 accompanies your parts through storage, transport, cleaning and machining. All models in the range share the same system features:
- Uniform footprint: All five models measure 383 × 281.3 mm and can be used in the same rack, magazine or stacking system.
- Anti-rotation feature: A notch on the side clearly defines the orientation of the pallet – important for automation and image processing.
- Minimised contact area: The parts rest on an open grid structure and are touched at only a few points.
- Cleaning in the pallet: Parts can be cleaned directly in the pallet in an ultrasonic bath; temperature resistance is designed for washing and drying up to 89 °C.
- Dimensionally stable and chemical-resistant: High dimensional stability and very good chemical resistance for repeated use.
- Stackable: Standardised stacking systems; stackable with the MANZ pin pallet.
- Identification: Barcode label with serial number; can be retrofitted with an RFID chip for traceability in medical technology.
- Two colours: Classic in grey and Standard/pearl white in white – each with its own article number.

Send us the article number from your delivery note – 80997156 for Classic in grey or 81559699 for Standard/pearl white in white – together with quantity and requested delivery date. If you only have the designation “MANZ MFP” without an article number, a photo of the pallet showing the embossed model number is enough. We identify the matching version and send you a quotation with price and delivery time.

The MFP 2 has 96 pockets in a 12 × 8 grid – 96 parts per pallet with one part per pocket.
Why are the MFP 2 pockets not square?
The pockets measure 27.8 × 26.1 mm. This way, the 12 × 8 grid makes optimum use of the rectangular 383 × 281.3 mm footprint.
What is the difference between Classic and Standard/pearl white?
The colour: the MFP 2 Classic is grey, the MFP 2 Standard/pearl white is white. Each has its own article number. The colour helps, for example, to keep pallets for different processes or customers apart – and dark parts such as carbide stand out with high contrast on the white pallet. If you already use one version, it is best to reorder the same one so that your pallet pool stays uniform.
