For large and tall workpieces
In the 6 × 4 grid, each part has a large, deep pocket of its own. The subdivided pocket floor supports the workpiece at only a few points, so sensitive surfaces stay free and cleaning fluid can drain away.
It is suitable, for example, for larger turned parts, housings, flanges, gears, tool bodies and small assemblies with a footprint of up to 57.7 × 54.3 mm. Several smaller parts of one assembly can also be provided together in a single pocket.
Consider weight and stacking
Large parts put more weight on the pallet. Please tell us the part weight and the planned stacking so we can agree on the right solution. If your parts are smaller than 37.9 mm, the MFP 3 with 54 places offers more than twice the capacity.
What the MANZ MFP 4 offers: features of the MFP system
As a workpiece carrier, the MFP 4 accompanies your parts through storage, transport, cleaning and machining. All models in the range share the same system features:
- Uniform footprint: All five models measure 383 × 281.3 mm and can be used in the same rack, magazine or stacking system.
- Anti-rotation feature: A notch on the side clearly defines the orientation of the pallet – important for automation and image processing.
- Minimised contact area: The parts rest on an open grid structure and are touched at only a few points.
- Cleaning in the pallet: Parts can be cleaned directly in the pallet in an ultrasonic bath; temperature resistance is designed for washing and drying up to 89 °C.
- Dimensionally stable and chemical-resistant: High dimensional stability and very good chemical resistance for repeated use.
- Stackable: Standardised stacking systems; stackable with the MANZ pin pallet.
- Identification: Barcode label with serial number; can be retrofitted with an RFID chip for traceability in medical technology.
- Two colours: Classic in grey and Standard/pearl white in white – each with its own article number.

Already using the MFP 4? Send us the article number from your delivery note – 80997154 for Classic in grey or 81559701 for Standard/pearl white in white – together with quantity and requested delivery date. If you only have the designation “MANZ MFP” without an article number, a photo of the pallet showing the embossed model number is enough. We identify the matching version and send you a quotation with price and delivery time.
Questions about the MFP 4
How many parts fit on an MFP 4?
The MFP 4 has 24 pockets in a 6 × 4 grid – 24 parts per pallet with one part per pocket.
Can I put several parts into one MFP 4 pocket?
Yes, as long as the parts do not damage each other. For sensitive surfaces we recommend a short sample test with your planned loading.
What is the difference between Classic and Standard/pearl white?
The colour: the MFP 4 Classic is grey, the MFP 4 Standard/pearl white is white. Each has its own article number. The colour helps, for example, to keep pallets for different processes or customers apart – and dark parts such as carbide stand out with high contrast on the white pallet. If you already use one version, it is best to reorder the same one so that your pallet pool stays uniform.
