Dimensions and capacity as per the MANZ data sheet 08/2020. The binding dimensioned drawing for your chosen version comes with our quotation.
For very small parts in large quantities
With 24 × 17 pockets, the MFP 0 holds the most parts per pallet – twice as many as the MFP 1. That means fewer pallets in circulation, less shelf space and fewer pallet changes at the machine.
It is suitable, for example, for small square or round indexable inserts, tiny turned parts, pins, washers and inserts whose footprint fits into an opening of 11.8 × 11.8 mm. The pocket depth of 5.0 mm keeps flat parts securely in position.
Will my part fit the MFP 0?
Base your choice on the largest footprint of the part in its intended position – not just on the nominal diameter. A triangular part, for example, needs considerably more space than a square one with the same inscribed circle. If your part is right at the limit or sticks out more than a few millimetres above the pocket depth, the MFP 1 with 17.7 mm pockets is the next option.
What the MANZ MFP 0 offers: features of the MFP system
As a workpiece carrier, the MFP 0 accompanies your parts through storage, transport, cleaning and machining. All models in the range share the same system features:
- Uniform footprint: All five models measure 383 × 281.3 mm and can be used in the same rack, magazine or stacking system.
- Anti-rotation feature: A notch on the side clearly defines the orientation of the pallet – important for automation and image processing.
- Minimised contact area: The parts rest on an open grid structure and are touched at only a few points.
- Cleaning in the pallet: Parts can be cleaned directly in the pallet in an ultrasonic bath; temperature resistance is designed for washing and drying up to 89 °C.
- Dimensionally stable and chemical-resistant: High dimensional stability and very good chemical resistance for repeated use.
- Stackable: Standardised stacking systems; stackable with the MANZ pin pallet.
- Identification: Barcode label with serial number; can be retrofitted with an RFID chip for traceability in medical technology.
- Two colours: Classic in grey and Standard/pearl white in white – each with its own article number.

Questions about the MFP 0
How many parts fit on an MFP 0?
The MFP 0 has 408 pockets in a 24 × 17 grid. With one part per pocket, that is 408 parts per pallet.
Which indexable inserts is the MFP 0 suitable for?
For small square and round inserts whose footprint fits into 11.8 × 11.8 mm. Larger or triangular geometries usually fit the MFP 1 or MFP 2.
What is the difference between Classic and Standard/pearl white?
The colour: the MFP 0 Classic is grey, the MFP 0 Standard/pearl white is white. Each has its own article number. The colour helps, for example, to keep pallets for different processes or customers apart – and dark parts such as carbide stand out with high contrast on the white pallet. If you already use one version, it is best to reorder the same one so that your pallet pool stays uniform.
